What you spend on an engagement ring is completely up to the individual. Depending on what stage you are in life, ie studying or saving for a house should be considered when shopping for an engagement ring. When choosing an engagement ring design, things to consider are your partners day to day lifestyle and if the design will complement that. Another thing to consider is the wedding band and if your partner would like to sit flush against the engagement ring or a more fitted design. 

No two diamonds are the same. All of our diamonds are GIA certified and the things to look out for are the 4 C’s, Colour, Clarity, Cut, Carat weight. There are also some other characteristics to look out for that we like to go through with all our customers. These include table diameter, crown height, pavilion depth to name a few.

Here is a trick in finding out your partner’s ring size.

You can see if they wear a ring on their right hand ring finger. Then lay it down flat on a ruler going through the middle of the ring, take a quick photo. We will be able to count how many mm’s the inside diameter is.

Some say engagement ring is more important because you typically wear it on your left hand on your wedding day while your wedding ring is typically worn on the right hand.

There is no right answer to this question as it is a matter of preference. Some people prefer a wedding ring as it is more of a commitment, some prefer engagement rings as they are a specific symbol of the engagement.
